Arts on the Allegheny

2008 was a great summer at the riverfront amphitheater in Kittanning—and with your support, the summer of 2009 will be even better!

River Fine Arts Association Art Stimulus 2009 Form - artist application for sculture/2D art show on September 19, 2009. Deadline July 20, 2009.

In the summer of 2008, Arts on the Allegheny presented outstanding performances FREE in Kittanning’s John P. Murtha Amphitheater. The artists included Gaelic Storm, a contemporary Irish roots band, the esteemed River City Brass Band, and as a memorable finale, The Clarks, western Pennsylvania’s number one rock band.

The potential of Kittanning’s gorgeous riverfront amphitheater was finally realized as over 13,000 people attended the 2008 concert series. Visitors and county residents saw Kittanning and Armstrong County as never before – a place of lively cultural events and excitement!
