We had a wonderful time sponsoring Armstrong County’s first Day of Giving, on Thursday, May 12, 2011! We at ACCF took it upon ourselves to find a way to give back to the nonprofits the way these special organizations have been giving to so many others in the community and abroad. Preparations are well underway for our Second Annual Day of Giving on Thursday, May 10, 2012!
Here are some of the nonprofits that participated in 2011 and reasons why you should help their important causes with the Day of Giving!
Here’s how it works:
The Challenge Fund matches donations made to eligible organizations on the Day of Giving, which will be on May 10, 2012. Last year we were able to match $25,000, which calculated to about $0.185/dollar raised!

That’s how much money the ACCF takes from this Fund for an administrative fee. That’s means ALL of the money is given right back to our community. Beat that!
