Community Awareness Day is a community celebration of prevention to educate and activate individual members of the Armstrong County community in their homes, schools, places of employment, senior citizen centers and places of worship about the dynamics and implications of child abuse, domestic violence, elder abuse, sexual assault, and the abuse of alcohol, tobacco and other drugs.
