Arts on the Allegheny
Join Arts on the Allegheny for their second summer season event! The River City Brass Band will be performing at the Murtha Amphitheater in Kittanning Riverfront Park on July 13th at 6pm. This event is free to the public.

Brotherly Love is Alive & Well
Cancer survivors wear purple shirts, and participate in the Survivors Walk at the Ford City Relay for Life. (Remember, if you are alive, you are a survivor!) Making Community Connections
You may remember me telling you about Community Connections, an inititative of Pittsburgh 250. Community Connections awarded both regional and grassroots projects in Southwestern Pennsylvania: the PA Friends of Agriculture Foundation was awarded $50,000 to construct a mobile science and agricultural laboratory to travel to schools thoughout Western Pennsylvania.
