The Armstrong County Community Foundation held a board retreat at the Crooked Creek Environmental Learning Center yesterday. The ELC is a wonderful Armstrong County resource–you can view the animal exhibits inside, hike on a trail, have a family reunion or a business meeting, even stay overnight! The atmosphere is rustic–no 5-star accomodations here–but if you enjoy God’s creation, pay the ELC a visit.
The Environmental Learning Center is one of the many nonprofit organizations that the ACCF has supported.
This litter graveyard is behind the herb garden, which is maintained by the Penn State Master Gardeners. (To become a Master Gardener, contact your local Penn State Cooperative Extension office.)
