Commissioners Proclaim October "Big Read Month"

“We, the Armstrong County Board of Commissioners, do hereby declare October 2007 as The Big Read Month, and call upon all our citizens, young and old, to help us promote this important month that draws attention to the vital role of literary reading in our county and our country.  We hereby further recognize and commend the Kittanning Public Library and the Armstrong County Community Foundation for their outstanding efforts in promoting literary reading and literacy.”
